OUR AMAZING JOURNY -- 18

+ Here is a post I recently wrote for the Interfaith Coalition of Greater Utica MY GRANDMOTHER'S HANDS book study group > https://www.facebook.com/groups/533211157757483. You haven't missed much yet so join us. I will not be sharing anybody else's posts here. This is such an important book for motivation and guidance in anti-racism work. Our Amazing Journey can only get even more amazing as we heal this huge wound affecting us so deeply. Let’s do this.

+ One of the important points in chapter one is "Trauma is all about speed and reflexivity. This is why people need to work through trauma slowly, over time, and why they need to understand their own bodies’ processes of connecting and settling."

I am sure most of us here are not beginners when it comes to this work but also most of us have a ways to go to complete this work .... as if we can ever complete it.

What are some of the highlights of the work you have done so far and what are your some of your short term and long term goals?
