Joy is the infallible sign of the
presence of God.

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
+ I know I could go on with more posts on the heavenly attribute of
Joy. But I
think I will end this current exploration with this one. Teilhard de Chardin is simply one of the most
innovative and illuminating thinkers of recent times. So, I think quoting him in this post makes
sense as a bridge to the next exploration which is The Heavenly Attribute of
Wisdom.
Joy connects with wisdom as much as it connects with abundance which was where we began exploring these 9 Attributes of Heaven. We can really see that in
so many of the great wisdom teachers as we have seen in the last post and in a
wonderful video featuring Archbishop
Desmond Tutu and His
Holiness the Dalai Lama which I
embedded in SE244 and again in this post.
Like each and every one of the heavenly attributes,
joy is a gift given freely and
abundantly moment after moment. Live joyfully. Live thankfully. Live in this
awareness, this reality. This is the way things really are.
Because there is an abundance of
Love, there are plenty of reasons
to be joyful, moment after moment, breath after breath. Be joyful as you
experience the amazing abundance of
Love,
Love in all its forms.
Heaven is simply full of joy. And, since we are heavenly
beings right now, right here, we are full of joy unless we are allowing earthly
attachments to dominate us. Heaven is full of joyful music. Do you hear it?
Listen. Connect. Dance. Sing. Sing for joy. Dwell here. Rest here. Relax here.
Thoroughly enjoy the music, the dance, the feast, the freedom of heaven. Home.
Wow.
Even though earth is a temporary dwelling place, it can
feel like home. It can be heavenly. Earth needs joyful, heavenly people. Earth
needs you as you really are, the liberated soul, the joyful heavenly being
having an earthly experience. You have been practicing. You are now tasting and
seeing, touching and hearing, moving to the heavenly beat, breathing the joyful
air of the greater reality.
+ Spirituality & Practice offers plenty of resources on the
spiritual practice of Joy. Also, there
is an S&P
Twelves Gallery of memes on Joy.
+ I would love it if you offered a guest post. And, I have work to do on the Abundancetrek
Joy page. Maybe you can help. Send an email
with the subject “Joy” or “Heavenly Attributes” or “Guest Post” to John@abundancetrek.com.
