+ One of the things I really like about this book is its' spiritual focus throughout. Without advocating any particular religion, the author again and again offers wisdom from many sources, secular and religious. He then integrates this wisdom into mental, physical and spiritual practices which have the power to transform us, to make us new, to make us more human and more divine. What a gift! Overcoming white body supremacy through the hard work of facing the traumatic pain of centuries which has inflicted our bodies is a goal worth pursuing with all of our mind, heart, body and soul. Let this book be a guide for all of us to create the Beloved Community.
