YOU ARE WHAT GOD IS DOING
Wisdom from two of my favorite Waynes.
I found this wonderful Wayne Dyer quote on page 35 of THE MYSTIC HOURS by Wayne Teasdale:
Just as a wave on the ocean is what the ocean is doing, you are what God is doing.
As on every page in THE MYSTIC HOURS brother Wayne Teasdale adds his reflections. Here is an excerpt from page 35.
Each one of us is internally related to God, and we couldn’t be if we were not so connected. / … each one of us, indeed all sentient beings, manifests the Divine Reality. It means that our existence is not really a private matter. To be means essentially to be related to the Divine. We are here for a purpose that involves all of us. The Divine Reality is doing, or being, each one of us. We are expressions of God’s endless creativity. The Divine is happening all the time, and in all corners of reality. The question for every one of us is this: Are we allowing God to be God in and through us?
I often affirm
our divine connection with this credo:
We are intimately, intricately, infinitely connected in the ultimate reality of unconditional, unlimited, uniting LOVE which is miraculous, mysterious and marvelous.

Better yet, buy the book. Or take it off your shelf if you have it. Wonderful wisdom everyday. Or any day you get to it. You don't have to follow the calendar and you can even miss days. I suggest doing Lectio Divina with some of the pages. Mary and I are now using this book for morning devotion for the fourth time around.
