SPIRITUAL EXPLORATIONS – 91

WE ARE EXPLORING THE PRACTICE OF DISCERNMENT
+ There are so many paths open to us, but which one should we take? How do you discern which path is right for you?
-- Naomi Kelly in the Weaving Home post for 3/21/16

+ Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.
-- Louisa May Alcott

+ The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come.
-- Joseph Campbell

+ You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.
-- Albert Einstein

+ Not to decide is to decide.
-- Harvey Cox

+ Satan is yesterday’s will of God.
-- Walter Wink

+ It just may be that the path you have found illuminating and inspiring and encouraging in the past is not the one which will work now and in the future.  God is always “doing a new thing.”  The planet needs us to discern what this new thing is and act on it.  Choose the path which leads you to new awareness and commitment even though it may be risky and challenging.

+ Spirituality & Practice offers 37 Spiritual Practices with an abundance of ideas and resources for this essential practice. Some of my favorites are Attention, Being Present, Connections, Enthusiasm, Imagination, Listening, Meaning, Openness, Questing, Reverence, Silence, Transformation and Vision. Pick one or 2 and see where you are led as you continue to discern your purpose, your path, your mission, your next step.
+ I have work to do on my Discernment page.   Maybe you can help.  Send an email with the subject “Discernment” to John@abundancetrek.com
