WE ARE EXPLORING THE PRACTICE OF HEAVENLINESS
+ Continuing with the 12 styles of the Mandalaprocess, we are exploring the style of Love and Compassion.
+ In Buddhism we
are taught to clasp our palms together and bow to all beings, seen and unseen.
In this way, we show our intention to cherish and respect all forms of life.
This is a vital spiritual principle.
I found this quote in the Spiritual
Practice of the Day on March 31, 2016 offered by Spirituality & Practice.
+ “This is a vital spiritual principle.” The physical
gesture can do wonderful things in itself but, of course, the “intention to
cherish and respect all forms of life” gets to the heart of the matter. Expanding Love & Compassion is simply the
heavenly thing to do. It is God’s
will. It is the dream, the vision, the
hope, the goal. Let us discover and create all kinds of ways to increase compassion, peace, justice and sustainable abundance for all.
