SPECTACULAR AUTUMN FOLIAGE

Many leaves have fallen. Many leaves are still clinging to their branches. They are red and yellow and orange and green. It is definitely one of the most beautiful autumns I can remember here in Upstate New York. Even with several days of rain and wind, many beautiful leaves hang on and delight the senses. Often, we hit peak one day and it's all brown in a day or 2. Not this year. It has remained at peak for a week or more. It's as if the trees and branches and leaves are communicating with each other so as to sustain the beauty for as long as possible. Some leaves fell off a long time ago. Some leaves don't show any sign of falling yet. This is true even on individual trees. Nice!
